The following Customer Access via eLink Demo can be used to show your customers the eLink software by logging into a test (read-only) account.

You can also provide them the following Adobe™ PDF document as both sales literature and as a simplified guide to using the eLink system for their own account.

Enabling eLink for Your Customer


1.
 Log into your "Dealer" eLink account.

2. On the Aegis Menu located on the left-hand side of the browser window, select the "Enter/Edit Change Requests" link and type-in the full account number. You can also use the Lookup feature by clicking the magnifying glass to search for a particular account. Once you have entered the proper account number, click the "Edit Account" to proceed.

3. Once the account's information is displayed, select the "Contacts" option, then the "Rights" sub-option from the account menu.

4. Once the following screen is displayed, click the name of the user, for which you would like to enable eLink Customer Access. Please note that you can only edit or assign rights to contacts that already have passcodes assigned to them, and eLink Customer Access can be enabled for any contacts listed on the account.

5. Once you have clicked on the contact to edit their rights, a new pop-up window will be displayed with the following options displayed in the screenshot below. Change the last option listed "Access through eLink" to "Yes" to enable access for this particular contact. Once complete, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen to apply the change.

6. Now that the selected contact has had "Access through eLink" enabled, the customer will be able to login to their account with the following information:

  • Customer Account Login Information
    • URL: https://gateway.hsmc-ul.com/elink
    • Username: The login is the customer's account number provided by you, the Dealer.
    • Password: The password is the "Passcode" assigned to the user.
